My personal classic car story started from when I was a little kid. My older brother was a petrol head from at birth I guess. He used to buy magazines and those miniature cars from Majorette, Matchbox etc. but I myself never really got that into it. But that changed on a beautiful spring day in 2012 when I saw this beautiful Porsche 912 in the streets of Lille, France.

I always have been fond of the classic 911’s and the 912 looks just the same but is easier on the wallet, so the search was on! Just a few weeks later after I sold my daily Audi A4 for exactly the amount someone asked for a grey 912 in my area. This one was (un)fortunately sold.

By the end of 2013 I bought a silver grey 912 I found on the internet offered by Classic Motors out of Washington D.C.

Mechanically the car was in great shape, but the body and floor not so much. A few years later the car is restored and resprayed in the original Porsche silver grey.

A lot of miles, rally’s and maintenance later I really fell in love with everything surrounding a classic car. Things like the community, the events, and even the investments are all great and that is what brings me here to start my own classic car company, #Classiccarstories.

‘Passionate about classic cars, the motoring heritage, and looking for authenticity, we aim to be part of the classic car community and support the preservation of it.
