The first generation of the SLK (R170) was built between 1995 and 2004 and features some nice equipment like power steering, power seats, power windows, air conditioning and the magnificent electro-hydraulic roof.

The metal roof folds in 2 parts in the rear, this make the 2-seater a coupe and a cabrio.
