We planned to expand the activities of Classiccarstories, which were selling classic cars and supporting people who want to buy or sell one, into a one stop shop for the classic car enthusiast.
Anyhow, we needed a location for a workshop. Did a lot of prospecting before ending up just around the corner in an existing garage (Aero), where we could use a part of the building. A lot of work went into clearing the workplace, organizing the stuff that was there. Preparation for the actual set up of the workshop.
A new floor, all the tools, a small office, .. you name and we fixed it ourselves. Now we are prepared to welcome all your classic cars for maintenance, repair and restoration. The last months we already had some cars coming in and so we worked for instance on these cars:
- Austin Healey
- Triumph TR4
- Toyota Landcruiser BJ46
- BMW 2002 touring, a tii and a convertible
- BMW 520i
- BMW 3.0 CSi
- Alfa Romeo Gulia and a Sprint
- Fiat 1500 cabrio
- Range Rover Classic
- Porsche 911 targa
- Jaguar XJ and S-type
- VW Beetle
- …
In order to come up with some pictures of our workplace for the website and for this story, we had a little fun the other day. It looks a bit clean and sterile but if you pay us a visit you will see that it is much more hands-on in daily use.
Why a workshop ? Well, we are aiming to be a one stop shop, so these services had to be in place for our own cars as for the cars of customers. In our experience it is hard to find a dedicated, reliable partner for your classic car and that is our ambition.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us about your classic car.
