Lockdown halleluja. We went offline in mid-March, just after our first participation @ the Antwerp Classic Car Salon. Covid-19 got a hold on people’s lives big time. Hope you and your loved ones are ok.

Stand Classiccarstories @ The Antwerp Classic Salon

No time to complain about missed business, missed road trips, lack of time with our beloved classic car. Normally we would set off for Berlin this week to participate in the Tour Amical 2020 to St Petersburg. We will have to wait until May 2021, something to look forward to indeed.

The lockdown kind of interfered with planning in general. My Porsche 912 is still in the shop and hopefully will be ready by the end of this week. This bit of waiting should be bearable, just a few days longer. Here is an impression of how the car was left mid March.

Waiting, again, to go on a road trip to Darmstadt & Koblenz. There are cars to inspect and a set of original wheels to be fetched for a BMW 3.0 CSi (E9). As soon as we can cross the border and as soon as the car will be ready, we set off. In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait a bit…

Waiting is not too bad, compared to the more serious consequences the Corona-virus can inflict, so keep safe !
