After our first participation in January 2020, de decided to participate again at the ‘Traversée de Paris’ organized by ‘Vincennes en Anciennes’ on Sunday July 26th. This time we entered 3 cars in this summer edition.
And we were not alone. Over 700 classic cars, tractors, motorcycles and bicycles participated in this event which starts early on Sunday morning. The ‘traversée’ takes you through Paris and calls at all the major places in the city.
It is a unique opportunity to visit the city of lights together with lots of classic car enthousiasts, participants as well as supporters along the route. Is there a better way to see so many highlights of this great city all in one day ? I don’t think so.
You even go off the beaten tracks and see sides of Paris that are less famous but very beautiful still. The arrival at the ‘Terrasse de l’Observatoire de Paris’ is something else. A big park where all the cars are gathered, some food and drinks, a good atmosphere, music playing, … That is absolutely the difference with the Winter edition which is more focused on the cars and the driving, where the summer edition is more than just cars.
A great event and we will be back, no doubt about that !
