Info

Lovely Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint 1.5 in Rosso Alfa (red), with a light grey interior. The car is delivered in The Netherlands in 1979 where it stayed until recently. It covered just 68.419 km and is a rare survivor, certainly in the almost perfect condition it still is today.

The last MOT / TC / APK shows no remarks on the condition of the car and would be valid until 13/07/2022.

The service book in complete and shows all services done on the car. It was always serviced by the dealer who sold the car in 1979. The 1st owner kept the car until a few years ago, when the dealer bought the car back.

The second owner had the car for some 3 years but decided to sell it again with pain in his hart because of an Alfa Romeo Gulia that came his way in his family.

(*) The Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint (later only Alfa Romeo Sprint) is a boxer-engined coupé produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1976 to 1989, and based on the Alfa Romeo Alfasud. 116,552 units of the Alfasud Sprint and Sprint were built in total. The Sprint was sold in Europe, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Alfasud Sprint was presented to the press in September 1976 in Baia Domizia (Caserta) and shown at the Turin Motor Show in November. Designed by Giorgetto Guigario like the Alfasud, whose mechanicals it was based on, it had a lower, more angular design, featuring a hatchback (although no folding rear seats). The Alfasud Sprint was assembled together with the Alfasud in the Pomigliano d’Arco plant plant, located in southern Italy—hence the original "Sud" moniker, which means south in Italian.
