Info

Very nice Triumph TR250 in British Racing Green and featured with silver grey striping which gives the car a great look. A rally icon in fact, meticulously cared for and indeed equipped for the sportive rally drivers. It comes with soft and hard top, which is not so common.

This car is very well cared for as the extensive history shows us and is in very good working condition. A test-drive with the TR250 convinced us anyway and so wy not you.

Of course it has a British Heritage certificate and the car had several taxations over the years, in this way you can get a good idea of the market prices as well as the value of this particular Triumph over the years.

The Triumph TR5 is a sports car built by the Triumph Motor Company in Coventry, England, between August 1967 and September 1968. Visually similar to the Michelotti -designed TR4 roadster it was derived from, the TR5 replaced Triumph's 105 bhp (78 kW) SAE Standard inline-four engine with the much more powerful Lucas mechanical fuel-injected 150 bhp (110 kW) Triumph 2.5-littre straight-6. Price pressures and tighter emissions standards in the U.S. resulted in a much less powerful carburetted version, the TR250, being sold on the North American market.

At the time, fuel injection was uncommon in road cars. Triumph claimed in their sales brochure that it was the "First British production sports car with petrol injection".
