It was still winter when we first visited the Barn64 site. A farm, about 100 years old and very modern when built, almost unoccupied for years. A great heritage and agricultural site in our region.

Nice to see what Philip Wauters made of it in just a few months. Take a look on www.barn64.be to get an idea of this lovely farmyard and for an impression of the transformation it underwent. A few days before the opening of Barn64 we were asked to provide a 4x4 to add to the setting. They were looking for old tractors and such as well.

You could say that we responded to this question.

  • Toyota BJ46
  • Porsche Diesel Junior 108
  • Renault R4
  • Volvo Duett Van
  • Hand trolley and some wheelbarrows

Barn64 is a pop-up event location with respect for the heritage and agricultural setting, where you can do loads of activities. It houses a glamping-site, an escape room and provides a home for bees and there beekeeper. The grill barn is a barbecue restaurant, decorated with salvage, antique and vintage furniture and decoration. And it is all for sale, like our Porsche Diesel Junior tractor and the Volvo Duett Van.

The Volvo Duett Van is consigned by DinkyCorgitoys, a Dutch company (Westbroek) specialized in toy cars and classic Volvo’s.

During Euro 2020 you could follow the Red Devil games on big screen in the restaurant. Which we did for the game of Belgium against Denmark, a successful evening indeed !
