I must admit, it is not easy to become instafamous. Earlier this week I took a go at it. A friend of mine posted several architectural renders of poolhouses that could be garages or was it the other way around. This made me think, couldn’t our poolhouse become a guesthouse, a garden office, or a garage? Here is my attempt to instaglory.
First of all, I had to transform our poolhouse into a garage by removing all the furniture. Oh yes, we had to wait a bit for some reasonable weather. Cleaned the pool, cut the gras, brought the car over to the back of the poolhouse. Juggle the car in place, then again wait for the right moment, light, setting for the ultimate photo.
Well, I see a lot of absolutely stunning Instagram posts passing by of cars in all different settings. My admiration goes out to all the photographers out there, they spend a lot of time and skill to offer us perfect shots. My attempts are far from perfect, I have no particular skill in photographing or time and material to create the perfect shot. But after my go at instaglory, I understand even more that this is an art in itself.
Oh yes, not to forget. Afterwards, I had to bring everything back as it was before. And to humor the rest of the family, now the space was empty cleaned the poolhouse. After all, I used for a whole day this year…
